Hence my surprise on discovering just good RFERL is; not just "good" in the sense "its not as awkward as Id expect"-- good as in the sense: "excellent content, well presented"

RFERL has better coverage of Russia and especially Central Asia than anyone else-- not a surprise, because basically no one else covers places like Chechnya and Kazakhstan.
